Many times I’m on trails or places where either the wifi is non-existent or it is public. I needed to find a solution that provided me with portability and privacy. You can purchase packages depending on your planned travel location and your anticipated data usage.

Pros:

  • convenient size

  • easy to use

  • packages to fit various needs

  • secure connection

Cons:

  • not always available where a network is non-existent (i.e. national parks, Costa Rica mountain areas)

  • unused data is lost if not switched to points

  • use of points is not very clear

  • data used quickly if streaming videos
