Photography has been in my heart for many years. It’s something that I never grew tired of. It’s a passion that is deeply rooted in me and excites me in ways that only photographers can relate to. I guess I can say it’s my romance.
There’s just so much beauty and creativity in this world and photography pauses those moments so that they can be relived and shared.
It can be the fine details of a gorgeous flower, the aerial view of waves along the beach, or the radiance of a setting sun. These few things are so simple, yet magical.
How it all started…
Born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, Angela first became interested in photography after watching her grandparents capturing photos. As a little girl, she asked her grandfather to show her how to use his camera. Who knew that her love of photography would remain with her for the rest of her life.
Angela would grow up using point-n-shoot cameras with film formats such as the 126, 110, disc, 35mm, and the Polaroid instant cameras. While in high school, she apprenticed in a local portrait photographer’s studio learning about studio light. This is where she was shown the use of medium format camera – Mamiya 645. During her time attending Kent State University, Angela was a freelance photographer for the campus’ Spectrum Magazine. Angela worked and saved up to buy her first professional level SLR, the Canon T90.
Over the years, Angela would capture images ranging from senior pics, fashion and lifestyle, weddings and landscape. She enjoys using her Canon DSLR and DJI drone (FAA-Certified Remote Pilot) capturing landscapes, architecture, portraits, food and aerial photography.
